Well this week went by like a bolt of lightening. Every night Sister Saalman and I will be laying in our beds asking ourselves what our favorite part of the day was, except there's always a huge moment of silence because we struggle to remember what exactly happened haha.
During my personal study time I came upon these following verses, and this is Christ speaking, "Behold, ye are little children and ye cannot bear all things now; ye must grow in grace and in the knowledge of the truth. Fear not, little children, for you are mine, and I have overcome the world, and you are of them that my Father hath given me; And none of them that my Father hath given me shall be lost. Wherefore, I am in your midst, and I am the good shepherd, and the stone of Israel. He that buildeth upon this rock shall never fall (D&C 50:40-42, 44)." I love how personal Christ is. I know there are many times in our lives where we want something immediately, but sometimes we just aren't ready. Most often we need to change ourselves to be able to recognize what is it God is asking of us or saving for us. I know he gave his son as a sacrifice so that we can all be saved. And I know that when we make choices that help us have Christ by our side, we can build a firm foundation on him that will give us strength to take on life's challenges.
Oh and the subject title just came from a funny experience I had this past week while getting on a straßebahn haha. Sister Saalman and I busted out of laughter after a 12 year old boy proclaimed that in front of my face haha. And sorry this was short, I'm cutting it close on email time!
