The man upstairs that sings

Image
I'm proud to say that every morning this week at 6am, and I mean every morning, the man that lives above us in our building doesn't cease to sing. I just crack up because I'll be in the middle of my morning exercises and suddenly I'll just hear him, and it's not like he sings for that long either. I live for the day we run into him haha.
This week I'd say was pretty good. We definitely hit a huge bump in the road to the end of our week, aber alles gut. We did what we do best, we forgot ourselves and got to the work. I'm 99.9% sure I've reached the point on my mission where I've forgotten what life outside of a mission is like. It's one of the best feelings ever to know that this work is my life. It's happened a couple times where Sister Olsen and I will be walking down a neighborhood, sitting on a bahn, in an appointment, or wherever else, and it'll just hit us. We'll turn to each other and talk about how insane it is that we're i…

... aber du bist eine andere Farbe-- Sister Olsen
This week has been the most hilarious week ever. It's also been a huge blur haha. I spent a good two hours by myself with the Elders in the area while waiting for my new companion. Those were the strangest two hours of my life haha. We lived so many miracles I lost track of them all.

We set up a meeting point and we were literally going on faith because she could only message us on wifi. We got to bahnhof the next day not thinking she'd be there waiting, but she was. She stayed for all three hours of church and loved it. Within that next week from meeting her, she moved back home to her country. Since then we've just been messaging her every once in a …

Guess who rolled her other ankle not just once, but twice this week? Me... Someone might just want to send me a wheelchair. This past week I rolled my right ankle twice and I don't know how. I'll just be walking and then somehow I'll end up on the floor trying to heal my ankle. I kid you not when I say I've fallen more times within these past two weeks than I have in the past 2 years.
The only other thing that hurt this past week was my stomach haha. We had an eating appointment with an Albanian family in our ward and man, Sister Saalman and I came out in so much pain. The food was amazing and if I physically could have continued to eat I totally would have, but since leaving Hamburg I'm sad to say I haven't been able to keep up with meals. We may or may not have had to adjust our clothing to be able to breathe and walk properly...
Apart from that, everything is good! Yesterday we heard from general authorities in the area via broadcast. The messages they had to …
